Wonder-Zul

A teenage boxer from Bradford remains unbeaten in his amateur career after winning his third successive fight.
Zulkernan Hussain, 18, from Girlington, was featured earlier this year in Asian Leader when he kicked off his amateur boxing days and despite a catalogue of cancelled contests, the young Lightweight fighter has shown a real determination to succeed in the sport.
Speaking after his latest fight at Beighton Working Mens Club in Sheffield, Zully said: "It's been really frustrating because I'm dedicated to training hard and really make a name for myself in this sport.
"I should have racked up a few fights by now, but when you get five cancelled in a row it is disappointing."
Although he might have been forced to bide his time, Zully was thrilled to get back to winning ways.
"I won on a unanimous points decision in my favour, but it was a good work out. The other guy was a counter-puncher just like me, so it took us both a little time to get into our flow.
"The lad didn't connect with me too many times and I felt pretty comfortable in there, which is good, because I haven't been in the ring much lately."
Zully has a short break coming up now, whilst he sets off on his Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca, but returns early next year to compete in the ABA Novice Championships.
"I'm looking forward to it and I'll be training harder than ever, because It's a real opportunity to show what I can do."
