Yorkshire hope teenage leg-spinner Adil Rashid will shortly be given the all-clear to resume bowling following a stress fracture of the back.

Eighteen-year-old Rashid is due to have a scan in the middle of December on an injury that first came to light during the final game of last season.
The problem was caused by too much bowling as Rashid wheeled his way through 327.4 overs for Yorkshire and England Under-19s during the final two months of his debut summer, and may also have been exacerbated by his unconventional bowling style, which sees him operate with a front-on delivery position as opposed to a classic sideways action.
Rashid also bowled a number of lengthy spells as he spun his way to 25 wickets in five County Championship appearances, a return that did much to save Yorkshire from First Division relegation and which marked him down as one of the brightest prospects in the game.
