A young model from Bradford has taken hold of a camera and took his own pictures in an attempt to raise money for the Pakistan earthquake survivors.

Imran Khan, 25, a former photography student, flew over to the Village of Sandal Khengier, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, during November - for his grandma's funeral. It was during this emotional trip that Imran saw the full devastation caused by last year's earthquake and decided to help those affected.
He told Asian Leader: "The people in that village were desperate for help. They need essentials like clothes, food and water.
"One women even asked me to take a baby with me, orphaned by the disaster. I knew then that I had to get involved and help."
Imran got to work immediately, taking photographs of the earthquake victims to put together a calendar, funded by his own money, which is now on sale to raise vital funds for those in need.
In an exclusive interviewer with Asian Leader, Imran said: "I took pictures whilst I was over in Pakistan so I could show people that many villages in the earthquake region still need our help."
The model, who has done work with hair specialists L'oreal and Bradford & Bingley Building Society, added: "I've put them together in a calendar for 2007, so people can get involved and help. They're priced at £4.99 and all the money is going over to Pakistan.
"All the pictures are in black and white. I did this because I thought it highlights the situation better than colour images would, because the winter months ahead will be far from colourful for people in these villages."
Imran took all the pictures himself and also paid the £1200 costs for production of the calendar out of his own pocket. He has sold around half of the 1000 copies and vows to make more if they are snapped up quickly.
He says: "I'll definitely get more printed if I think people will buy them. At the moment there is plenty left and I hope people show their support for my campaign by buying a calendar.
"I've got involved with a lot of the local schools, so the children can play an active part and I've been going round local businesses as well to raise awareness of the calendar.
"My company Dixon's has also sent details out with all their press releases and have been very supportive, so I hope it can all really make a difference."
Imran will be taking all the money he raises over to Pakistan, hopefully sometime in February, so he can invest the funds in medical supplies, food, water, shoes, clothes, pots, pans and cups, amongst other items much in need.
Imran's story is an inspirational one, having battled his way through school dealing with dyslexia, before beginning a Photography course at Bradford's Grange Technology College. He has since gone on to hold down a full-time job as a sales executive at Dixon Citroen in Bradford and has took part in numerous work as a television extra including appearances on Coronation Street, Life on Mars, Shameless and Cracker.
Imran has also just finished filming work on a new television advert for furniture company DFS, which was aired on 26 December.
Anybody interested in making a donation to the campaign or in buying a calendar, priced at £4.99 each, can contact Imran through his website at http://khancan.no-ip.info and he is happy to discuss his campaign further.
